i love his/her rubbery sticky character. so of the earth. your scuplting of such a thing is incredible and shows appreciation of form. thank you for sharing and all.
At first touch I realized that metal was my medium. I love the feel of it, the way it sounds, and the transformation from an simple element into a 3 dimensional piece of art. A metal artist for all of my adult life I am also a Certified Level Two PMC Instructor and member of the PMC Guild. I had my own production line of sterling silver and copper hand-wrought ornaments and jewelry for over 15 years, and have shown in many galleries including Shidoni Gallery, Santa Fe, NM; Eureka Gallery, NY; Wolfard Gallery, Santa Rosa, CA; Earthworks, Sonoma, CA; and The Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite National Park.
I have a Jeweler's Certificate and an Associate of Arts Degree from Santa Rosa Junior College as well as a Jeweler's Certificate from the Revere Jeweler’s Academy in San Francisco.
I was first introduced to Precious Metal Clay in 2005 and it has been a fascinating and wonderful discovery ever since. I continue to take workshops and am constantly learning new techniques.
I began teaching Precious Metal Clay workshops the same year. I love to teach as much as I love to create and learn!
