Such a fun weekend! On Saturday I attended a photography class to learn more about my camera and how to photograph my work. It was an amazing workshop and my two new photos are the proof of that!! I am thrilled and I LOVE my new camera!!
Sunday was a family reunion in Kenwood at the Depot there. Catching up with all my Italian cousins was great fun. We all had family stories that the other ones had never heard. Our grandparents immigrated here from Italy before World War 1 with my dear grandfather arriving alone at the age of 16 on the last passenger liner out of Italy before the war began. The train he took across the US actually passed through Kenwood to Santa Rosa where he jumped out the window at Melita Station!
The weekly Open Studio Workshop in Sonoma is going well with lots of new projects. I will post my students work later this week using my new camera skills!

I'm so glad the photo class was good. I'll have to dust off my notes and start using those techniques again; your shots look GREAT!
