What to say in a blog? I am sitting here with my one and only kitty in my lap looking for inspiration.
So, I think I will start with my new Open Studio workshop. What fun! So many projects! Every week I take home the greenware my students have created and fire them in my studio. I fire at night and run out to my studio the next morning in my pj's to see the finished work. It is always magic to open the kiln and find that the little clay pieces I carefully placed in there are now beautiful silver works of art! Metal is such a wonderful medium. I marvel when I think of how the jewelry we create today will be around long after we have gone.
